Worldschool Network
Portus Groene Hart participates in the Worldschool Network. This is a network of collaborating schools and social institutions worldwide, nationally, and locally.
Extra challenge
As part of Worldschool, groups of upper secondary HAVO and VWO students can create their profile project. In this context, students carry out assignments. The clients work in and for development projects in Asia, Africa, South and Central America, and Europe. The assignments may, for example, involve promoting entrepreneurship, which requires developing a business plan or conducting market research including financing. Research can also be conducted in areas such as water management, healthcare, or education, among others.
The Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment also acts as a client for profile projects through Worldschool. These projects concern topics related to the greening of society.
