A child who feels good about themselves also learns well. We do everything we can to provide each student with tailored guidance, both cognitively and psychologically, socially and emotionally. At Groene Hart, we pay attention to every student.
Our goal is, of course, to ensure that every student has an enjoyable time at Groene Hart and leaves the school with an appropriate diploma. Support for all students at Groene Hart begins with the mentor. The mentor is the main point of contact for students, parents, and staff. If a student encounters difficulties, this is noticed by the parent(s)/guardian(s), the student, the mentor, or other colleagues.
When the student is subsequently referred to the support team, we provide appropriate support in consultation with the parents or refer to specialists. The contact person within the support team is the support coordinator.

If your son or daughter has a support profile, you can visit the Koers VO website for detailed information about the support our school offers. We are happy to meet with parents of students with an LWOO indication to see if we can meet the support needs of the student in question.
When enrolling students with a support request, we adhere to the official enrollment rules according to the Appropriate Education Act. You can also find information about this on the Koers VO website.
The confidential advisor is the point of contact for staff, students, and parents who wish to confidentially address undesirable behavior in the workplace. An important task of the confidential advisor is to support and guide staff and students who report undesirable behavior within the organization.
Other important tasks include providing information about the role and responsibilities of the confidential advisor. In addition, they also advise on the school's safety policy and offer support during complaint procedures according to the complaints regulations of the school board (Portus-CVO).
