Stichting Jade 

The students from the 2nd year havo/vwo classes at Portus Groene Hart have taken action for Stichting Jade. The students from the 2nd year havo/vwo classes at Portus Groene Hart have taken action for Stichting Jade. They created beautiful posters around the theme 'Stop using cancer as an insult'.  Afterwards, they participated in a sponsored run, through which they managed to raise no less than €5071.75. Thanks to this amount, several families with children being treated at the Princess Máxima Center can now enjoy a 'getaway moment' in a holiday cottage. This allows these families to make memories, away from all the difficult treatments for a while.

Portus Groene Hart is very proud of the sporting efforts and social involvement of the second-year students who made this project such a great success. Of course, a word of thanks also goes out to all the sponsors. Jade's father, who is the chairman of Stichting Jade, also expressed his gratitude for the amazing amount raised.
